The Power of Music

Yesterday I played for a group of disabled school children in San Diego and was so moved by how powerful music is. The kids were marvelous, smiling, moving, engaged, and it was magical. Thanks to all of the great teachers, and especially my friend, Sandy, for setting this up and hosting me. I've known her and her mom (also an early childhood specialist) all my life, and their dedication to helping people learn is incredible.
Tomorrow I'm playing at the wonderful Children's Museum at La Habra, then over to Long Beach to visit with a dear French friend, and then back to San Diego. This is a wonderful trip!
