I met Abhas about a year ago at a birthday party I was playing in Mt. View. His dad asked if I'd teach Abhas (then only 7 years old) guitar, and the rest is history. His mom is taking lessons too! Abhas had already been taking piano for some time and is studying both instruments. He started playing melody lines almost immediately and has an immense appetite for music. He transposes easily and absorbs like a limitless sponge. He reads music and has an extremely strong ear. Today, at his lesson, we went into his backyard and recorded this arrangement of a duet we play of "Old MacDonald."

Abhas decided that Old MacDonald has a lion on his farm, so the lyrics are about the lion. I asked Abhas to count us into the song in Hindi (he's bilingual).
